Teaching Massage Webinar Series
Instructional Methods with Suzanne Carroll
In the new textbook Teaching Massage: Fundamental Principles in Adult Education for Massage Program Instructors, Suzanne Carroll, author and massage educator writes, "Most educators use a wide variety of instructional methods according to the size and type of their class, their subject, and their teaching ability. A teacher who is knowledgeable and comfortable with multiple teaching methods will be more skillful in meeting the needs of the learners and the goals of the learning institution." Suzanne will join Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals in a webinar for massage schools and instructors that looks at instructional methods and how to apply them practically in the massage classroom.
This webinar will:
Define the four broad categories of instructional methods.
Identify the benefits, drawbacks, and considerations for selected instructional methods.
Establish a criteria for selecting instructional methods and evaluating their usefulness in the classroom.
